Maintenance Method Of LED Lamp

- Apr 23 2019 -

It is a very quick and simple job to check the burnout of LED lamp lamps, but it is not so simple to carry out a comprehensive and systematic maintenance of the external lamps. Timely maintenance of external lights is very important for drivers, because it not only affects the comfort of driving, but also directly affects the safety of driving. Often, before being reminded, it is difficult for owners to realize that headlights, taillights, turning lights or parking lights are no longer working properly. By the way, the replacement of burnt bulbs is very simple, and the cost of DIY is lower than the standard for lighting system maintenance at maintenance stations.

More often than not, the failure of car lights is not limited to such minor problems as bulb burnout, socket rust or plug damage. Professional diagnostic techniques are often needed to analyze the root causes of the failure. Even for low-cost cars, the interior and exterior lights are controlled by the main computer. The headlights of luxury cars are controlled by three computers alone.

If the car is equipped with daylight DRL, you must first understand how these devices work. For example, some daylight systems can't turn on their daylight before the engine starts, and some daylight systems can't work normally even if the parking brake has not been cancelled. If the vehicle is equipped with light control lamp (that is, when the external light is dim to a certain extent, the system has the function of automatically turning on the headlight), you may wish to check the working condition of the headlamp in the process of the weakest to the strongest state of the sensitivity, and of course, do not neglect to check the automatic closing timer. If the system is equipped with a timer, set it to the maximum latency.

If the headlamp is damaged, a similar lamp is usually used for replacement. Some automobiles are equipped with high-intensity discharge headlamps HID, which generate high-density light sources through high-voltage arc discharge generated by a pre-designed electronic system. Note that ordinary quartz-halogen bulbs cannot be used here. In addition, check whether there are cracks in the headlamp, because although surface cracks do not affect the lighting performance of the headlamp, moisture will penetrate into the lamp along the cracks, which will inevitably reduce the life of the lamp.

The calibration of headlights should also be included in the list of maintenance items, because in order to ensure the maximum safety of drivers, headlights must be able to provide good forward lighting for driving vehicles.
